Lazy bride syndrome...

Re: Lazy bride syndrome…

I’d suggest u take care of ur skin and dark circles because the base and make up etc can only mask so much. The better ur skin is the better the make up will look.
I used to think the same and when I got my make up done the dark circles didn’t get filled up which I expected mircales… :cb: well i was only 14 so :stuck_out_tongue:
Easiest way to have clear skin is to just drink lots of water & lime juice, add a little ginger etc to change up the taste if u dont want to drink it everyday. I know someone who went on a lime juice cleanse n it made a huge difference.
I like mine with lots of mint n crushed ice .
if ur wedding is a month or few weeks away it’s easy to follow this.

best of luck:)

Re: Lazy bride syndrome...

Good to see this thread while digging the forum up. Hehe I thought I am the only one not taking care of myself right before the wedding. No gym, bad bad diet and no beauty treatments. :|

Re: Lazy bride syndrome...

Please please please do not be lazy! I was a lazy bride and it causes undue stress at the end.
However, if everything big is done and you just have urself to take care of, then it is ok.
I didn't have a MUA decided and everyone was booked at the last minute so I did my makeup myself :(
The hall person messed up the decor bigggg time (no chair covers!!! old chairs/furniture on the stage, etc) but I didn't get time to go discuss it beforehand so didn't know who to blame.
My photographer/videographer hasn't given my my album yet and the video has several errors like no sound in certain parts, crappy editing, weird songs, etc.
My outfit's top didn't arrive so I had to go buy another one at the last minute.
Clothes didn't fit anymore b/c I lost a lot of weight due to stress so had to get alterations done at the last minute.
I definitely didn't take care of myself… in the weeks leading upto it as I was busy doing everything else.

Re: Lazy bride syndrome...

*To everyone that's passing by .. *

Assalamualikum to all the beautiful ladies and yet bride-to-be's.. Here I am, replying to this thread exactly ONE YEAR later. Waqt ka pata hi nahi challa.. :|

Aaaanyways, i was just going through the topics and was curious about what replies I got which ofcourse I didn't get to read since I was too busy in Pakistan. Update: Everything went amazingly PERFECT Alhamdulillah. I had a replica made for my mehndi dress, which almost got messed up ( size, length etc ). My wedding & walima lehnga were bought from one store! This didn't go as smooth as expected ofcourse. The shopkeeper actually showed the lehnga's off as if he was wearing them, hihihi. Anyone familiar with that?

Hmm, make up in Jhelum was done bij Splendour. They did a better job on my Mehndi IMO, Baraat make up was a signature look but it didn't blow me off my feet exactly. Walima makeup was done in Lahore by Simmi's, and I have to admit they do know how to work it, lol. I LOVE LOVE LOVED their eyemakeup, and overal it made me look so fresh and perfect for the second day.

I had a photographer and moviemaker from Lahore, Irfan Ameer, who did an awesome job. The guy sure loves doing it! And I chose my halls, the menus, the decoration, the music, the lights everything pretty much :D I was a Bridezillaaa hihihiih..

Aur kia, to all the brides to be who are abroad just like me. Just breathe in and breath out, everything is going to be just fine.
