I once mixed Custard powder into some vanilla icing sugar … beat it reall well … and layer one of the layers with it .. it turned out so well

U mean like the birds custard powder that u boil up with milk? Didn’t it taste a bit weird, like raw cornflour???

nope... coz you do add a bit of milk in it .. like a drop or two .... just make sure to dissolve it completely and then do the rest of the icing sugar process ...
