Two other Test players - Dinesh Karthik and Gautam Gambhir - have also not made the 14-man squad. Dinesh Mongia, Mohammad Kaif, Murali Kartik and Mahender Dhoni have all been called into the squad. India and Pakistan drew their Test series 1-1 and will now play six ODIs, starting at Cochin on 2 April.

India squad: Sourav Ganguly (capt), Virender Sehwag, Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, Mohammad Kaif, Yuvraj Singh, Dinesh Mongia, Mahender Dhoni, Irfan Pathan, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, Laxmipathy Balaji, Murali Kartik, Ashish Nehra.

Hmm i feel bad for laxman. He looks like a nice guy. If someone had to leave it was Ganguly!!!

The other day someone had a banner saying: "Don't re-LAX MAN" lol
