Lawyers slam PML-N indecision
LAWYERS on Thursday strongly condemned the PML-N leadership’s surprising silence over the issue of joining their sit-in protest in Islamabad on March 16.
**The legal fraternity held their routine protest rally on Thursday on The Mall in which they openly criticised the PML-N leadership for its indecision to participate in their protest sit-in. Majority of the lawyers were of the opinion that PML-N Quaid Mian Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Mian Shahbaz Sharif had linked their support to the disqualification case pending in Supreme Court. **
Lawyers speaking at the general house meeting of Lahore Bar Association also asked the PML-N leaders to take a clear decision whether they will join the sit-in or not. After holding general house meeting, lawyers of LBA marched from Aiwan-e-Adl to GPO Chowk where they were joined by lawyers of Lahore High Court Bar Association. They were chanting slogans against the government and in favour of deposed Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry.
