**Hi guyz! Can anyone tell any gud lawyer who deals in divorce cases. I know there are thousands around in Karachi, but someone who is really experienced and can deal in worst to worst cases. Thanks.

karachi should have a few. sorry, dont live in pakistan, but am sure karachi and lahore should have the best ones seeing as they are the bigger modern cities....i know the ones in smaller cities are useless because they dnt yet believe in divorce/or assume its female at fault.

Sorry Fatima G i know many lawyers in lahore and my father and brother are also lawyers ...... but really don't know about Karachi ... But I'm sure there must be some guppy from karachi who can guide you ....

Rasheeda Patel, president, Pakistan Women's Lawyers Association is a very big name here in Karachi. I don't have her contact info at hand but you can get her number from 1217.

BTW, I think all the divorce cases are the worst esp. if there are children involved. Khulla can be taken quite easily by saying ‘mental incompatibility’. But, you need to think hard before you make the decision. The process in not very time-consuming but puts loads of strain esp. mentally, emotionally and financially. Courts are also not very fond of ‘divorce’ and tend to make all possible efforts for the couples to compromise. That said, browse these as well:

hmm. well... first..
Allah did not make anything lawful more abominable to Him than Divorce. Of all the lawful acts the most detestable to Allah is Divorce.(Sunan Abu dawud: Book #12, Hadith #2172-2173)
having said that if you really think there is point of no return then i guess go for it. But a tip you dont need to get the best of the best lawyers in order to get the divorce order, most of the time court prefers females and allows them to take there dowry items along with children (with monthly expenses with fathers right to meet them every month) and Haq Mehar (in some cases).
worst case scenario::: female will be granted divorce without her dowry she brought at the time of her marriage.
the age of your child and if you were living alone (time period) can also come into play during proceedings, your lawyer can guide you better.
again.....if you think there not a singe % chance.....

so that is what im asking. Can anyone suggest me a good lawyer who can give a better advice too, otherwsie there are thousands in karachi.
