So karachi and Islamabad is expensive, In lahore tailors (atleast those I know) are charging 800-1000 for the suit with some styling

I have been trying to order lawn for the past 2 months..Every time I decide on a couple of dresses, another new designer releases theirs and I get confused again.
Is it even worth paying $80-$90 bucks for a lawn suite for people living in Canada/USA?
I feel exactly the same! I was so close to ordering 2 suits but when I added up the costs I gave up and stepped away from the computer. There will also b upcoming eid collections to also choose from and more importantly replicas of the most popular designs.

Wow guys, durzis are making some serious money but I guess the stitching of these fancy suits is a very labour intensive and skillful job. So where fb groups are charging 8k for a lawn suit, this is the going rate then?

are the prices reasonable for darzis? i mean a lot of load shedding, then generator costs (for those who can afford) and of course generally price increase in pk ??
i can remember there was a time i paid 100-150 rps for salaai....even 80 for jus kameez

You are right brummie, I would rather wait for the replicas. It's just not worth paying so much money for a dress I may only wear a coupla times. It is cold right now and will start to get cold again in August so no point spending hundreds of dollars for lawn suits. It's worth it for people in Pakistan or people living in warmer climates.
Makes me feel so much better that I am not the only one :D. I'm gonna save this money and buy a super nice dress for Eid or maybe 2, those I can atleast wear to the upcoming weddings.

I had my aunt buy 3 Elan suits for me ( shalimar, belle de jour and opium) and she told me that my tailor has said the quality is horrible...the colors have bled a little and the there's 'tehrapan' or 'kaal' ( don;t really know what she means) in the kapra after shrinking it, the kapra's lost it 'shine' too which is fine since that happens sometimes... aunt got them from saleem fabrics and this is the first time I got Elan. has this happened to anyone else???..im soo disappointed!!!!

Quality of last years elan was superb, they used a different textile mill this time. Wish they had stuck with kamal textiles.

even I am not very excited abt Elan, they did not look good in real, especially I thought the dupatta would be same as in the pic. Only got them coz heard good thing abt their last collection so I booked them ahead of time :(

Hello, anybody here got Sania Maskatiya lawn..? How's the fabric ..how's the quality of Sania Maskatiya's lawn..really liked D8(sapphire anarkalli), D9 (matyala) & D12 (dilkash)...haven't heard anything about Sania Maskatiya lawn yet :/ ..and i don't live in Pak so chance nahi hai dekhnay ka :/ :( .. please if anybody knows tou do tell :) ...

Winkblink my mother in law got me cashmere in the maroon and satin in orange too she was saying its alot nicer in reality and duppatas r really nice!
