By the way just wanted to share I got 1 from lakhani n 1 from hsy must say they r beautiful than the picture the colors materials r just great happy shopping to me I shrank thm n there colour remained perfectly fne once they got stitched I l share pics inshahallah

Na yaar, nothing buy-able. me and my friends kept cursing the designers for creating such shxx.
Even other ppl were talking like, i think they took all the left over crap of last year to create the pieces, the quality is badly compromised, the prints look good in pics but look like crap in real, bad colors, too busy prints, poor embroidery, cheap laces, and the sky high prices, starts from 3400+ and goes up to 6-7 thousands.
I mean i wud still had bought a piece or two only if i had found the product worth the price. I can instead get some cheap pieces from any pathan, get the embroidery done from a machine wala and buy those exact same laces in way cheaper and make the same design in less than half in better quality.

Thanks for the update holy holy, my mum said the same about the quality and prices being compromised this year, but she only likes gul ahmed and I don't as I find it too thin! The prices are sky high again but the suits look so lovely in the photos but I guess they ain't all that in reality and it is afterall only lawn. Were there any worth buying? Yaar us purdesis are stuck with having to buy the branded stuff!

i too had same opinion but it changed
who have courage to go to pathans in this heat? you go out do khwari and buy accessories and it wont be same in one wash, if you calculate all the cost it will be same may be difference of 500 or 1000 but i bet it wont look good in next season.
whereas in designer suits you find all the accessories good material and most importantly it will survive for few years.
i wont agree that the fabric of all the designer lawn is bad it just that when you see so much variety at one place you get confuse.
I so have have witnessed GA fabric better than last time not too thin and lawn duppatta collection is still not bad you get it for 2300 for 3 piece suit, if you buy from pathan you will end up paying this amount.
Kamal lawn i like the prints very summery again everything included you need to get it stitched only
Sana Safinaz there are so many things in one packet pattis embroideries material is so good and duppatas Wao i am in love, the prints not looking good in shoots are actually pretty.
LSM very fine fabric and again all the accessories included you dont have to purchase anything just need it to be stitched.

i agree wth u last year i got 2 from v lawn n 2 san safinas n they r in so good condition tht i can use them this year also
i alos got few from gul ahmed n warda in pindi but mind u both i can wear at home but not outside n v lawn(though they r missing this year) sana safinas, hsy, LSM.... good fabric,colours, n everything so i think its better u get few but good :)

Agree to belledonne you know I am even using my JJ suits of 2009 and they are still in good condition once u wash them and get ironed. Same with Gul Ahmed suits they are also doing great for last 3 seasons. Whereas I was woking too was teaching in a university where there were no ACs initially in hot summers and we usually get only 15 days summer vacations so used to wear them in those heated noons of June July. Still they are going good.

thanks for the advice girls and i have to say my SS and LSM from last year can still be worn this year and my JJ from 2 years ago still looks pretty good.. I did get a fake LSM from Proto last year and to be honest even that survived the valayati washing machine and tumble dryer.

can be worn hehehe...they shuld definatly worn...when i buy lawn suits...i try to wear them at least for 3 years :P.... ek season ke liye to nehi itne pehse kharchte :D
belledonne i agree...paying such an amount...but u dnt need to get extra...jus need to stitch thats easy...
people in pak who knows where to get cheap fabric, lace bla bla bla and can do this hassle and even know how to save money go for it :)
but people like us who can jus order online...we have to compromise :)

LOL, you're so right twinkle, its just seeing all these fifty million different designs, i'm getting sucked into the hype, i just need to step away from my machine and breath!
