Then why is it sooooo expensive? For example my Eid suits used to cost 4000 - 5000 rupees, then after marriage about 7000 rupees and now its so crazy that if you want areally nice suit you have to spend like 20,000 rupees!!!!!
My Mum says that the Pathan's need to sell their kapra on facebook! But seriously, why is the price so expensive? to me it looks like Pakistan pricing is according to us dollar rate, if the lawn suit cost 50 US dollars a few years ago which was i think 3000 rupees, now its 4500 rupees is equal to 50 US dollars. no matter what you are going to pay that darn 50 dollars even if that will equal to 6000 rupees next year!!
Yes you are right only 6 or 7 years back, I still remember that suit of 800 to 1000 was treated as the very precious one in my wardrobe, even fabric was so good that my younger sisters also wore them with some amendments. Chicken suit of good quality was very easily available in 700 to 1000 price bracket. Still remember one of my dull terracota colored and navy blue colored suits that I used as part wears. This branded lawn thing was not very much famous those days. And even 6 years back when I get married I had these chicken suits of reasonable prices in my jahez and Bari, and some suits which were extra costly were of 1200 to 1500. Aisa lagta hai Aaj sey 20 saal pehley kee baat ho:(

Well Ladies I have not received my suits yet but Belle did some of lawn suits for me and she sent me pictures here I am sharing
I liked all of them a lot. Thanks Belle. Still more to come that are with my mom and she showed me on skype.
