any fans of the spin off from Law and Order …the Special Victims Unit? its the only show i watch on TV lately…aside from the jon stewart show and SITC.

I love this show. Christopher Meloni is a great actor. I don't know if you have ever watched OZ. It's a bit disturbing, but he was good in that.
I don't watch it weekly, but I usually watch the SVU marathons they show on TNT.
I love Mariska Hargitay. She's one under-rated actress.

i intend to rent the seasons of OZ because I started watching it too late. did u know that he played this ugly freaky guy in the harold and kumar movie ? I heard he was excellent in there. i think he has very good chemistry with mariska

I don't think Hargitay in under rated...She recently won an emmy.

oh i love this show… sad but i think i know all the dialogues 
once in a while i’ll catch a show i haven’t seen before. i liked mariska with her boyish cut before… i don’t fancy her new style much.
meloni’s character is awesome…the cop, the dad.
i like munch too, he’s so smart and rather funny..
so what are some of ur favourite episodes? mine’s the one where ADA Alex is assassinated… that drug lord was one scary character! i like Alex better than ADA Novak.. though she’s alrite too..
what abt Criminal Intent? D’Onofrio was really annoying to me at first with his sherlock act… but his eccentricities grew on me.. the other detective is simply walking in his shadow it seems… i don’t like CI that much.

i havent seen criminal intent yet. i sometimes watch the regular Law and order. the best thing about this show is that they dont always show a happy happy ending. my fav episodes were those in which the team ends up getting majorly conned...there was an old one with this girl who claimed to be a rape victim who was pregnant and they defended her in court ..later on they found out she made settlements with dozens of men (that in fact SHE had raped!) and she had also taken money from childless couples promising to deliver the baby to them! it was a fantastic epi.
i like munch too. esp when he makes those jokes about his failed marriages
i love elliot especially the way he shows so much compassion towards kids and gets into trouble because of being over-emotional.
do you guys think him and olivia should remain just partners? i think they have great chemistry together (much more than his silly wife!)

ooh i didn't see that episode... yeah i sometimes watch the regular law and order.. i really liked jerry orbach.. his dry sarcastic style. i too like the fact that there aren't happy endings to every story... it makes it seem more realistic.
i think he and olivia make a great team and they shdn't ruin it by becoming partners in any other sense.. but sometimes it does seem like they think/feel like one person, one entity.. and i think that's what makes them a successful team.. but i think if they were to get together, the dynamics of that relationship would take a toll on their performance as cops and partners.
u know elliot got divorced from his wife rite? his job and his emotional involvement with olivia took a toll on the marriage.

oh yeah i know they got divorced but didnt they get back together recently? i mean didnt the show an episode in which they were intimate with each other? i dont have nbc so im stuck watching USA which shows both old and new episodes and that leaves me confused!

yeah i usually catch em on usa too since they do mini marathons and such 
i know the episode u’re talking abt, the one where the middle kid scolds him the next day.. i don’t think his wife’s so silly… she seems pretty calm and even tempered whereas elliot’s all emotional… so in that sense i think she’s good for him. and olivia-elliot thing would be too intense… olivia’s quite short tempered and so’s elliot.. they’re all suffering from PTSD i guess!
