Laundromats

What do you know about them as a business. Do you know anybody who has one? What are the ups and downs of this kind of business. How much do you figure would take to open up a new one. Please post anything that comes to mind.

Sincerely,
Captain Lota

Re: Laundromats

I sold my drycleaners software to a drycleaner owner who was making $900,000 to a million gross per year. I know this by looking at his data over three years period of time - I upgraded him twice with new features/fixes. This was a very busy location and a big store with 4 computers networked. He said his expenses were around $500,000 to run the store. The rest was net profit. But again, drycleaners is different than laundromat.
