I just seen an old bridal Dupatta trend being revived but I am unsure what it is called. I just seen some picture’s from a wedding my cousin’s attended back in Lahore What exactly is this type of tinsle or trim called and I usually seen it in old style
lengha’s.

thanks for uploading it. My bhabhi said this old trend is back in she's live in Lahore and her sister's a designer. It was on a lengha's all the girls were wearing the same exact outfits except for the colors were different purple, red, royal blue and green.

Re: Latest Dupatta style
lol i know its not the prettiest but theres something so antique and classic about the look. when you see it, you think of the time our parents were married in. i'm not really fan either but i am glad its back. maybe people will be able to use it and give it a more updated look!
Re: Latest Dupatta style
I think its perfect for the mehndi, as that day is very traditional. my friend had it on her dupatta for her mehndi, and it looked really good.

yeah my mom had it too... al tho her one wasnt so goldeny.... and i like it... i mite even wear it on my mehendi :)
Re: Latest Dupatta style
Definately back in. Had it on some parts of my dupatta at my engagement last month :)
I think the only difference is that back in the day when our parents got married, the Kiran was brighter
the one I had on my dupatta, was dull gold
Re: Latest Dupatta style
i second that! my mom had it too but hers was a copper-ish gold…some trends shud stay in the past!!! ![]()
Re: Latest Dupatta style
I heart kiran...I think when used appropriately...its beautiful.
My sister wore my mom's valeema gharara on her mehndi. We made a matching shirt and dupatta go with it and lined the dupatta with light kiran and gota...looked so beautiful!
