latest dilemma. No stage in the hall

things are not making sense any more. some thing new comes up every day as we are trying to prepare for the wedding. Now the Only hall available on my dates for my mehndi, though is a good place.. has no stage. and if we try to rent one, they want it out before we leave.. which wont be possible. the hall has great sound system and projector screens and all.. but this is the Only problem. Now i have never attended a wedding function without a stage.. Ne ideas of what i could do?

Get a staging company/decorator. They will set up the stage and dis-assemble it.

yeh... i went to a mehndi in december...n they didn't have a stage... they had yellow fabrics, sofa chairs, n cushion against the wall nn it looked really good...there was so much decoration on and around the wall that no one really noticed that there was no stage...it worked for them.. maybe this story will help u (inshallah)(i tryed)

Thanks dunya. that does make me feel better.. abt the stage hiring thingi.. the thing is we wont be able to finish that early.. and it looks horrible if these setting up ppl come in the middle of the function to disassemble

they'd come after, hon... theres no way they'd show up in the middle of the function while you're still using the stage. thats highly unprofessional...

yeah i kno They will come after.. but the hall person says EVery thing needs to go out in the time we have the hall booked for.. the stage ppl dont come till the next morning.. that also is questionable as its sunday the next day.. so either we book the hall for 36 hours or we start detachin every thing during the ceremony.. Me included:(

the people who do your stage decor should be able to provide the stage too, talk to the people you are hiring from and explain the situation - we did and they allowed it.
