Hey T1000 I will watch Prince of Persia when I want to have some light fun.
Hmm ..abt Iranian movies.. I love to hate tearjerkers. The last Iranian movie that I watched was called I think "About Elly". Really liked it. Has anybody watched "Turtles can Fly" .. its a really good Iraqi/Kurdish movie about the suffering of kids during a war. If anybody loves crying while watching movies, this is the movie for them .. On similar theme is a Jap Anime movie "Grave of the fireflies" ..Never believed a stone heart like me could cry in Anime movie :(
Have heard good things about Inception .. Sheesh so many movies to watch, so l'il time :(
Grave of the Fireflies is too damn sad, beautiful too though.
Last night I watched:
Meri Jung. Anil Kapoor, from back in the day. Fun.
The Lives of Others. German drama set in East Germany during the 80s and the whole secret police thing. Engrossing, and pretty damn awesome, Ulrich Muhe really holds your attention. The ending was bittersweet and rather beautiful. Highly recommended.
Yep . The Lives of Others is amazing.. you can just feel how the protagonist who doesn't have a life of his own is trying to live the "Lives of Others". Maybe you will also like "Good Bye Lenin" , a political comedy/drama set in Germany soon after the fall of Berlin Wall.
tere bin laden...rubbish film...i was expecting a lot
raavan....again expected a lot but the ending wasnot good...could have been better...good acting though.
toy story 3- loved it totally...its a film that any age can enjoy
I saw Ghost Writer. It was mediocre, nothing amazing. I still haven't seen Inception, I'm trying to hard to resist the temptation to download it. I really wanna IMAX that ****!
I know right?! I love it too! Oooh I saw a some youtube bits and pieces. I thought it looked pretty damn sick. You just reminded me, its going in the download queue!
Yeah, it's like a little ego trip. So if I go all power hungry on the forum, it'll be your fault.
I thought City of God was better (maybe because I watched it first), but City of Men is definitely worth a watch.
“Veer” - the first hindi movie i’ve seen after a very long time, can’t remember the actress’s name but she looks a lot like kat kaif but acts much better than her, the sets, clothes, shoes, jewelry were all so very beautiful and the story is the usual bolly girl meets boy type stuff. good overall
wish there was more chemistry between the actor and actress and they had more romantic scenes together making it atleast seem like they liked each other, it didn’t have any of that, they were like brother and sister during most of the movie anybody else feel like that?
