Meanwhile, Saleem, dejected, decides to leave Pakistan for good.
As the family is getting ready to take him to the airport, Mehroo shows up, gives a little emotional speech, apologizes and acknowledges that Saleem is the right person for her.
Everybody is happy. The end.
