Can this be taken out? Not just done by guppies but by mods too? Its ugly and the whole post just takes on a negative drag…

There is a 3 minute time extension that has already been added to avoid this "negative drag". If you really are adamant on having a flawless post. Why not type it out in your MS Word with your utilities (spell check + grammar check), then after making all corrections, post it.
Personally, I think its a pretty good feature from both perspectives. It shows the person has corrected themself or the moderator did it for them.
Using word takes too much time...First you open, then you type, then you paste...Too much hassle and it takes the spontaneity away from a reply...it would be easier if the thing just disappeared, that way we can make corrections without anyone being the wiser...
As it is, everytime you correct something, it's like you retracted something after writing it down...More than the post, I keep wondering what the hell was said?
If you can get rid of it, that would be super...Why should anyone else be wiser about my mistake?;)
