AsSalaamo Alaikum,
I have noticed that a lot of travel agents sell Umrah package which consist of first 10 days of Ramadan, middle 10 days of Ramadan, and/or last ten days of Ramadan. The question I have is in context to the stay and validity. Saudi Arabian Airlines states that umrah pilgrims must leave by the last date of Ramadan, and cannot stay for Eid-ul-Fitr. Is that true?
If it is a fact, then where do people celebrate their Eid if they’re required to take the flight out the night before?
And this is something that has probably been addressed within this section many times, so I do apologize for repetition, but are you required to purchase a package deal, or can you ask the travel agency to obtain just the visa for you? The reason is that the packages are put together in a non-feasible manner with double/triple/quadruple occupancy per room. I feel that if booked individually, it would be a better deal. Please state your opinion on why it is better to just purchase a package, or go the self-booking route.
Thank you.
