When I was in Pakistan people used too have a home made achar with lasooray. I absolutley loved them! Does anyone know what they are and if they are available in uk.

I have no clue what they are called in english or if they are avalible abroad (i highly doubt that they are!) but they are yummy in achar

lasoora achar was my favourite.......you can't get it here in Europe I guess.

Oh my lasoora achar...can't get anymore in here...oh well...may be you can have a few in mixed achar...its great though...

Lasoora is called “Glutinous Fruit” in English and yes it is available in UK.
I have recently bought one made by “Shezan Foods”, which was good. I have seen from al-noor foods as well in the local shop.
I think National and Ahmed too does the lasoora achar but not readily available in UK but I think the big markets would stock them so yes you can get it in the UK just check your local asian grocery shop

Indian and Pakistani achaar producers sell Lasora achaar. I love it.

YES, i do love them and i remember eating them quite frequently. i don’t live in the UK therefore i can’t tell you where you can buy them. i think stores in South Hall will deffo have them.
