When I was in Pakistan people used too have a home made achar with lasooray. I absolutley loved them! Does anyone know what they are and if they are available in uk.

I have no clue what they are called in english or if they are avalible abroad (i highly doubt that they are!) but they are yummy in achar ![]()

lasoora achar was my favourite.......you can't get it here in Europe I guess.

Oh my lasoora achar...can't get anymore in here...oh well...may be you can have a few in mixed achar...its great though...

Lasoora is called “Glutinous Fruit” in English and yes it is available in UK.
I have recently bought one made by “Shezan Foods”, which was good. I have seen from al-noor foods as well in the local shop.
I think National and Ahmed too does the lasoora achar but not readily available in UK but I think the big markets would stock them so yes you can get it in the UK just check your local asian grocery shop ![]()

Indian and Pakistani achaar producers sell Lasora achaar. I love it.

YES, i do love them and i remember eating them quite frequently. i don’t live in the UK therefore i can’t tell you where you can buy them. i think stores in South Hall will deffo have them.
