Laser

Hello again,

I am considering getting laser hair removal on my face, I have read the entire thread that Sahar02 started and from it I’ve learned that a majority of you that have tried it, have had good results from it. I was concerned about getting it done because I always thougth you had to be fair skinned to get it done. Since that is not the case anymore I would like to try it. My only concern now is: you can’t remove, bleach, the hair for one month prior to the 1st treatment right? and in betweem sessions you can’t remove, bleach the hair so do you walk around with stubble? Or do you shave everyday?( I don’t wanna do that!!) and lastly what about avoiding sun exposure? You have to completely stay out of the sun? how can you avoid that? Any other advice or details would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Re: Laser

That's one of the things I'm concerned about too. You could try those hair-removing mitts. I don't think they actually remove the hair from the root -- they just remove it from the surface. But the consultant said most people shave, or use something from Bath and Body works that is pretty much like a razer.

Hi Abees,

Thanks for the reply! So are you living in the US by any chance? If so what's the name of the place you are getting it done by?

You know what's really weird I keep getting pimples on my upper lip after threading the hair there, and I am sure it has something to do with the hair removing. If I get it lasered I won't have to worry about it, hopefully!

Thanks
