Re: Laser Hair removal offer
It is very miss-able.
The Soprano is not well considered at all and the lack of permanent results with it are usually met with comments about it not being used properly or by an experienced tech (by pro soprano people that have one in their clinic). It's a diode laser and if people can manage to get results with the Lightsheer, they should be able to with this as well without too much fuss.
Not only that, but they want you to come back ever 4-6 weeks, so in terms of hair cycles, you're only paying for 3 treatments. At week 3, shedding should just be about done. You shouldn't have any hair hair at week 4-6 if the treatment was effective. I wouldn't be surprised if they even tell you that the hair won't shed and it will 'gradually weaken' or some BS like that.
And most of these groupon places go bankrupt anyway. You're paying £129 for 6 sessions. Groupon take 50%. So the clinic is left with £64.50 payment for treating you 6 times... £10.75 per treatment and the purchaser expects it to be good? Uhm, yeh.
Re: Laser Hair removal offer
:( oh dear. I paid for it. I would get 6 treatments btw not 3 treatments?
Just to clear things up, will i get results at all then?
Re: Laser Hair removal offer
You will get 6 but it will be equivalent to 3 because of the spacing they insist on. Even with the best laser, best settings and best tech a treatment at 4-6 weeks past the initial one would just be a 'touch up' for missed hairs or treating nothing at all. So the only treatments treating a proper hair cycle will be 1, 3, and 5.
I have no idea if you will get results. I have no first hand accounts of successful treatment with the Soprano. Be prepared not to expect any. If you get shedding of all the treated hairs between 1-3 weeks after a treatment, then you might get a permanent result. No shedding, then definitely no possibility. Best way to see if you shed is to leave the area after treatment. Don't keep shaving.
Re: Laser Hair removal offer
Oh ok thanks for your advice! I'm gonna check your laser post again to clear up any questions!
Re: Laser Hair removal offer
Yeh, one of my last posts was about a clinic in Aldgate East that has the Apogee Elite MPX which is the daddy of Laser machines.
My sister had a test patch and consultation there for her legs and I was pleased with it. She'll be starting treatments there soon.
