I went to see a skin doc today and i was shocked at the number of people coming there for laser and alot were there for Genesis and said it was great with no side effects at all, great results within 1 sitting though you do need like couple to get the max result.
I see people have become really comfortable with laser now eh?! I still feel when i hear the word laser and i know i would never opt for it unless it becomes absolutely necessary for me 2 go for it.
I think with laser therapy, it really really depends on the dosage. Wrong dose may be harmful but with correct dose, what it does is it stimulates your cells at a macro and micro level, improves circulation, bring more blood to the area to bring more nutrients and take waste away etc.
lol, these are some laser principles i learned in class (with respect to laser use in physiotherapy..)
I, however, cannot even imagine taking my skin close to a laser ever.
I am not scared of it burning my skin. I am just thinking that if it's making an effect at the cellular level, could it actually cause cellular changes that maybe cancerous especially due to repeated exposures.
