i heard interview on tv...the doctor said that laser eye surgery can be done till -13.0...and it will be done perfectly....

I think this is up to doctor....Sparrow I wish u to find a really good doctor:D

Really? I wear glasses sometimes.. my power is -0.75 in both eyes but overall I can see fine without glasses.. sometimes they are needed though.. especially in the dark at night. I had been contemplating laser eye surgery for 1 year now.. How are lasik laser surgeries in Pakistan? Can anyone explain please?

Hi everyone, thanks for all your posts...i've got my assessment for laser surgery coming up...it's on the 31st July...it's in Harley Street (London). They told me the assessment will last about 2-3 hours where they will do a series of test to see if i am suitable for laser surgery...what kinda questions should i ask them?

I had this surgery done about 3 months ago and I have to tell you Allah ka shukar ha I can see more clearly now then I did with my glasses! My prescription was about -2 in my left eye and -3 in my right.
The whole procedure lasted all of about 5 minutes.
When I got home that day, my eyes were stinging alot and burning but that cleared up by the next morning. The only problem I've had is for the first 6 weeks or so my eyes were so dry I had to use the artificial tears all the time.
make sure you ask them about your post-op care and get precise instructions as far as when you can wear make-up, splash water on your face, etc. You wont be allowed to cook or clean for about 2-3 weeks after.

Excellent news i'm glad your surgery went well! Thanx for the advice i will ask these questions (i am making notes now) when i have the assessment. Also i just wanted to know where you had the laser done?
