But seriously, marriage is much like business…both of u r becoming liable of each other, and if either of u break this contract u have to pay or get some monetray compensation in reward (based on condition). So either make marriage a non-liable business contract, or deal with it like u r buying car.

wow hundreds of years after the quran is revealed, saudi arabia realizes they are doing something unislamic. oh well at least someone addressed the issue. i hope other muslim countries follow in saudi arabias path and give their women the rights the quran granted them.

i gotta question for guys born n raised here or in canada
so my cousins' cousin from the other side of ther family got engaged, shes 16, to some guy in canada whose 25, i still think its nasty, but im pretty sure the guy was born n raised in canada.. would you be ok if you a had to get engaged to a 16 year old??
- shes not that hot, shes short, and looks like she's 13.

It’s all very subjective. How is it nasty??? It’s nasty because the environment you live in has you BELIEVING it’s nasty. Maybe some societies in the world think posting messages on GupShup is ‘NASTY’. Does that actually make it nasty? :rotato:

i said he could be a perverted guy or a guy who listens to his parents every wish. i didnt say he was perverted. there is something wrong with a 25 year old getting engaged to a 16 year old. how long are they going to wait to get married until shes 18 or 20. or are they going to wait until she finishes all her studies around 22ish. what is the point of waiting around for this girl to study and mature a little if you barely know her. i cant think of any so there has to be another reason the guy said yes.

there are plenty of girls around his age that are ready to get married. what is so special about this girl. where do you live most of the girls at my highschool are worried about school and education and getting into a uc, it might be because more than half of my school is asian.

mf- what school did u go to?? our football team is filled with any loser who tries out, it non-cut. and if you make varisty as a soph than your good.
and its not like that at our school, well maybe like 1% of the girls are, but the rest of them just have to get into college.
