Most of these "boys" have to work early in their youth not to just support themselves but to support the family sometimes working even 2...3 jobs. With working 2 job, you have to have and extra love and clear mind to think about the benefit of education. Once you get into the cycle of earning money and paying bills its takes lot of courage and sacrifice to get out of it and get back to studies.
Then there are some who just don't want to study. They want to "somehow" earn money, get married and have family.
