I think this is one sequel that will suck bigtime!
This is not the Lara Croft from the Tomb Raider game… To make this movie successful, they have used stuff that doesnt even suit the Lara Croft character, for instance romance and all those PG-13 permissible scenes, which were totally uncalled for.
I say two thumbs down!
I vote for god (or evolution, as you see fit) to give us more thumbs to be turned down.
The first one was a load of rubbish. Attractive and yumy rubbish, but rubbish nonethless.
But I have a funny feeling that this one will better than the first part. I dunno why though. It might even do so well as to be considered…almost-average

I saw the Tomb Raider sequel-- I didn’t like it that much – Greatest thing about the movie is Angelina Jolie - This girl rocks when it comes to doing stunts.
The sequel is better than the original movie IMO – The stunts, visuals, and exotic locations were awesome – It started to get a little predictable near the end - The Cradle of life had a bit more digital work which tied together well - The direction and pace of the movie needed a little more finesse – and there were a few loose ends that needed tidying up – but for the most part, the movie was pretty good (much better than the first one–actionwise) - The first 3/4 of the movie was totally engrossing and engaging – On moving from Asia to Africa, there 
the movie fell totally flat and I compeletly lost interest – Angelina Jolie maintains amazing presence - even with insane dialogues and some goofy scenes.
