New study.
Looks like using a laptop on your lap can mess up the male reproductive system.

So do you think there’s enough evidence for this? What is the large number of males in that age group who use laptops for over 15 minutes in one sitting to do if this is indeed the case?

I can see floods of non-serious posts in this thread but to be honest hardly anyone puts their laptop actually on their laps anymore.

They do at airports. There were almost 50 young good looking guys at our last trip with laptops on their laps. :hmmm:

have u heard of that news where a 12 years old had his skin burnt. He had been playing games for over 8 hours everyday and he ended up saggy skin .Read sucha news a few days ago.

were his parents playing video games with him for 8 hours or something, what were they doing while he did this everyday. it ain't the laptop's or the laptop maker's fault if that happened to him.

Naah, look at how many geeks and nerds and IT people there are from Indian and Chinese community, still they are the most populated countries in the world. I say that unless the laptops are used as chastity belt, i dont see how they can effect the growth of population.

High temperature slows sperm production.

Same way, theoretically, prolonged hot shower regularly, tight clothings, sitting in hot tub or sauna can cause low sperm count.

Men who have low sperm count should avoid these.

P.S. Don't know what happens with hot steamy lap dance though. :(

But I have a desktop computer so my laps are safe!
