I feel at ease opening up the cover of a desktop. Now, I wana open up my laptop. Would I be screwed? or is it as easy as desktop?
nowhere close. you warranty might be screwed too if u open it.
Its not nuerosurgery if thats what you want to know...just scaled down components and configuration of desktop.

Some laptops do allow you to have a look at the components without breaking the seal. If you have one of those then for sure go ahead and touch the micro peripherals with proper static prevention gadgets. But if there is none then make sure you don't cross the border without proper visa :) My IMB T-21 is the same where I cannot see the peripherals but the older model does…
dude, dont mess around with that laptop stuff, ull be scracthing ur head for hours on tryin to hold things down and putting it back together, plus ur warranty will be scrwed, id say look up some tech ppl in yellow pages and ask for cheap prices from professionals
