Re: Laptop getting hot

hkn when ur using your laptop make sure its getting enough air- dont use it in an enclosed place and dont put any papers on your keypad- it could be the internal air fan in ur lappy ... either that or it could be extreme use of laptop ( PROBABLY GUPSHUPPING)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Laptop getting hot

HNK,

It is pretty normal for your CPU to be at 50 to 65 C, so i would not worry until your laptop gets above 65-70 C....

Please make sure you clean the vents with canned air to get any dust out, to allow proper ventilation....

And finally, you may want to think about obtaining a laptop cooling mat, as it's an easy solution to laptop over heating.

:)

Re: Laptop getting hot

okaayy.. thank you soo much! nd yea probably overusing ! everything is GS's fault!! :D thanks again

Re: Laptop getting hot

It can be your battery , which is gone bad. Try to run it on battery and see how long it lasts for if it lasts for 30 minutes or less then it surely is battery which has gone bad.

Re: Laptop getting hot

llol for me too

Re: Laptop getting hot

Another thing could be it needs a bit of cleaning / servicing. May be dust is blocking the vents or the fan itself. The first thing you should do is get it serviced from a good location.

Yeah that too.

Re: Laptop getting hot

well you can buy a notebook cooler, if you are in for a spending of 3k to 6k, it is the ultimate solution for concerned people like yourself and it may even be able to extend you laptop's and your battery's life. As everything gets worn down faster due to heat related erosion of materials.
