I’m looking for a good laptop deal- dell, toshiba or IBM thinkpad
Some specs: 1.66GHz, 1 GB RAM…
If anyone can tell me of some good deals, please let me know.

acer aspire 5051 is a brilliant laptop, brought it a couple of weeks ago!
2.0 GHz AMD tourion processor
60 gb hard drive
and its smaller (14.1 inch screen) and lighter than your average laptop.
the only slight problem is the ram which is 512 but u can buy another 512 (brand new) from ebuyer for £30, open the cover on the bottom of ur laptop and pop it in to give your self 1024mb ram!
especially good if your on a budget its just under £400 :)

I bought this Toshiba Satellite for my bro a couple of weeks back…great laptop, and an awesome deal!! suggest MFRP is over $1000…bestbuy is taking a hit selling this laptop at such a low price in order to promote Vista :k:

get a mac ! ur closest apple store or circuit city carries them!
looking at ur described specs a mac book with 1 gig of ram and a core duo process would be just fine. u can get a 100 dollar discount if ur a student at a uni
