I was feeling really sorry for him while looking his interview and I think Pakistani cricketers who can’t speak English should speak Urdu and any PCB Management member (who can speak English) must act as interpreter.
Even while giving interview in urdu he said "main yah award kami bhai ko “delegate” karta hoon :smack2:
If any one has remembered, Wasim Akram’s first inteview in New Zealand was translated by Qasim Umar.
I've been to Pakistan many times and from my experience, I feel in Pakistan, it's just considered fashionable to unnecessary to throw random English words into a perfectly fine Urdu sentence. Even if you know the Urdu word, you'd still this asinine urge to use the English alternative. I find so so bizarre. I don't know if it reflects the failure of Urdu as a subject/language or Pakistan has no intention to end its post Colonial hangover.
I wouldn't be surprised if Akmal Jr also scores low on speaking standard grammatically correct Urdu with diverse vocabulary.
I know, I know, it's got nothing to do with Cricket.
