Language and it's science

Peace All

Firstly, I find it odd that linguistics is sub-classed here in culture and literature. I feel the topic of linguistics should be part of philosophy and language to replace the term in this GS section.

Coming to the topic of the thread …

There is a thread that has been opened in Religion which is titled “Islam is a scientific religion”

The language in this statement is loose, does it mean:

a) Islam is a religion which applies itself scientifically?
b) Islam is a science which poses as a religion?
c) Islam is like science
d) Islam makes you religious about science?
e) Islam has a belief system that is based on science?
f) Islam can be proven using science?
g) Islam is not contradicted by science?
h) The measures taken to present Islam are undertaken with scientific completeness?
i) Some combined meaning of the above?

Language can be misinterpreted and different people will come up with different ideas and conclusions based on statements which are not clear.

Perhaps a little discussion can be held to decipher the uses and extents of language as a tool to communicate thought.
