Any suggestions for good easy landscaping plants to grow in mild, temperate to hot weather?
The less you need to do to tend the plant, the better.

hostas(sp?) are great.
you plant them once......and they last forever.
they flower in the summer and when the flowers are finished blooming the green and cream coloured foliage provides beauty.
you will need to water them at least twice a week.......
