NYA:
Seems like you and yours had a great time. I miss Greece a lot. And do want to go back. Have you visited San Torini? I found it the most amazing place.
Thanks for sharing the story. It's rather too long so I will read it later. It would have been better if you posted few pics and told the story there.
Also, I remember you had replied to one my thread "Captain Corelli's Mandolin". Just wondering if you know how to get there.
sorry, how to get to cephalonia (or is it kefalonia)

NYAhmadi :**I came down to the lobby, and the guest book (I have a silly habit of wanting to find out about previous visitors, which tells me what kind of people visit what kind of places) was filled with impressions of writers and common folks, German, British, French, and now a Pakistani (one particular note from a young Australian female left an imprint on my mind.) I couldn’t resist writing her a postcard as she had left her address in the guest book. I hope it gets to her. **<<<
It reminds me of something. I do tend to read other people’s remarks when writing my own comments. I remember I stayed in a girl dormitory in Cambridge as my cousin was attending a conference and I really liked a postcard in that room - a painting by Salvador Dali. I couldn’t resist taking that postcard with me and then scanned and printed it in a bigger size for my room. Later, I wrote her a small apology on a postcard admiring her taste and returned her original postcard as well.

Also, is there any difference between Cephalonia and Kefalinia or is it the same place?
Great story, I really enjoyed reading this

Good account as usual NYA, but you missed out the food! What do they eat over there apart from feta and olives?
ok
Yes well I'm always fascinated by foreign food and as I can see from your descritions you aren't averse yourself. I have a feeling Greek food would be really good. Pics would be most helpful. I'd love to join you assuming I can fit it into my schedule. Let's see how it's looking next year.

The women in the village were very attractive and very crude in their mannerism. No nonsense kinda women. In my mind, they had a definite resemblance with women from my part of Punjab
You can say that again. Gawd the girls in my village used to make me blush with the stuff they used to come out with. They all had nice dimples in their cheeks though. (facial).
