Land For Sale and Money Transfer Query

I want to sell my land in Pakistan and i am in poor health to travel from the UK and so I wander if a power of attorney given to my wife brothers who have been managing the land would be sufficient to transfer it to the new owner.

Also how would I transfer the money from Pakistan to the UK in pound sterling as there are restrictions I understand which forbid large amounts to be transferred.

The sums could be in the region of 100k to 500k. The agricultural land is being offered for sale for 40 lakhs per acre.
I have no idea if this too high or too low an amount for fertile and productive agricultural land.

The land is in the area of Sahiwal.

Not sure if this is the right forum for this post.

Yes, that is how it is done. You will have to give “general” power of attorney. Here is a video that explains the process related to giving power of attorney from overseas:

As far as I know, the money will have to be wired from a “regular” Pakistani bank account[of someone you can trust] to your UK bank account. First PKR will be converted to USD, then USD will be received by your UK bank which will convert it to £ sterling to deposit into your account. Be prepared to take double hit due to poor conversion rates at each end, as well as double hit due to bank fees at each end. But that is how wire transfer works.
