My mother was telling me about a piece of land between Yemen and Oman that’s significant and is a nogo area for some reasons
Anyone know this in more detail? She heard it herself from.a Islamic tutor but didn’t ask for more info
.is this correct? Its kinda scary all Bermuda triangle fied. But this has religion backing

Also apparently scientists have tried to find out why that land is unhabitble and the grains of sand they tried to examine taken from that land had over 20 types of poison on it

The area your mother was referring to is called Umm as-Samim. It’s quicksand area, and locally referred to as ‘Mother of Poisons’, because legend has it that bedouin caravans passing through disappeared, (more likely Sank and were not found).
