I know there were many threads open on this movie but i just listeneded to songs of this movie and couldnt resist to dedicate one more thread on this.
Songs of this movie makes you feel that you are in different time and era with different kind of people.
No other actress but sridevi could have done justice with that role and anil kapoor was just made for this movie.
it was a bold decision that time by anil to shave his mustaches.
Good movie overall with awesome songs.

Whenever I hear this song “Morni” I just can’t help myself… but start singing it along. Such an all time classic song. :k:

the movie was a bit ahead of the time. Though Yash chopra still rates lamhe as his best work and is his fav. movie out of all the movies he has made.

It was a unique and a very mature one by Bollywood standards. It could have been more acceptable to the audience if it were to be released now. But back then the concept was somewhat disgusting to people.

Ahhh..this movie was just superb! Amazing songs to which I listen to, alwayz seem to take me back down the memory lane! I loved it so much, i bought the dvd :)
