i am one of those who cant seem to handle dupatta at all… now my nanoo sent me this ghara and it has a longgggggg duppatta.. cud some one plz post some images of different ways u can wear long duppatta..
p.s duppatta is heavily embrodried and the shirt is plain.
I'll be wearing an outfit with a big dupatta to a wedding. I need more ideas to wrap around a dupatta with a gharara and a kameez that goes to the hips.
Why not pleat one end put it onto one side of your gharaara…then loop it from behind to the opposite side shoulder into the front…sort of like gujarati style.
CB, what I recently did was, take the dupatta and fold it up in gathers. pin it on one shoulder. take one piece of the remaining dupatta from the front and one piece from the back and pin it on the opposite side midway down your kameez. this way, your kameez shows, and your dupatta looks elegant. and it remains in place coz u have it pinned!
No pics…sorry. think of how some women wear saris but wear it with the paluu in front…so your dubutta does the same goes to the back and then loops to one side where you gather it and stick it in.
