I've said this before on other threads, I'll say it again, Religion should just not mix with Politics. Politics is a national governance matter. Religion should just be a personal spiritual matter, nothing more.

I've said this before on other threads, I'll say it again, Religion should just not mix with Politics. Politics is a national governance matter. Religion should just be a personal spiritual matter, nothing more.
There is nothing wrong if religion can be mixed with politics, but whats wrong is you have to follow the religion sincerely and not impose it on others. Some shmucks think of themselves as God's agents and push religion down everyone's throat.

Never agreed for using mosques for political purposes, its the handling of the Lal mosque by government that i oppose.

Religion, Especially Islam has much to do with the Political system, yes i agree the Mosques, Schools, Colleges and Universities shouldn't be invovled in politics, let them be the place of Peace and harmony.
May be Other religions are personal matter, but Islam gives a total social system. hence cannot be declared as a personal matter, who so ever does this either have a limited knowledge or is ignoring the religion.
a very few things can be considered as personal matters, but as whole it is a social religion, which has guidelines for each and every aspect of life.

islam is not just religion like other religions , it is a way of life , so politics can't be separted from Islam, but the real problem in this world , islam of today is for every one except oneself, that is creating problem
