DUDE: Agencies WORK for the government. When it was in the benefit of the country to create these jihadi outfits, they did it for the government (i dont favor that approach, but anyway that's why they did it). since that time (early nineties) country's interests have changed, and most of the agency people are acting accordingly, except a few who are now unable to cut off their ties with people whom they formerly supported. But stop making obstructionist arguments blaming agencies for what they did in the 90s. They did what was needed then. they are doing what's needed now.

it was 99-2001 period, and Musharraf govt used the MMA alliance to gain political advantage against Nawaz and Benazir as at the time, they wanted to keep both the sides out of power. A foolish move which strengthened the Mullahs. But what does discussing that do now? The point I am making is that regardless of how late the right thing is done, it is still the right thing to do. Unless you are looking for cheap political rhetorical points, and want to use every opportunity to embarrass the govt, army, agencies, their milkmen and servants, their aunts, whomever, just so you can "prove" that they were previously in bed with these people (that we already admit)

Oh by the way, in case you mistake me for a Musharraf supporter. I have been asking for his resignation from his army post followed by complete retirement from political scene for about a year now. But I know not to get hung up on whom he supported in 1999, and keep that from realizing adn tackling the threats country faces in 2007.

man this ghazi#2 is the biggest expert in delay tactics. he wants an MNA (shah abdul aziz ) from NWFP to come and take charge of 'TWO' orphan girls, knowing full weell that it would take a few hours for this to complete. Whereas Balqees Edhi had already offered to take control of all the orphans. This Ghazi fker is the satan himself!

Maybe he is waiting for his "friends" outside to come to his rescue or pull off another hijacking elsewhere. We know his phone has been working (which I think was a mistake) He could have been encouraged by his patrons to hold on while they attack Musharaf's plane, do suicide bombings and attacks elsewhere to pressure goverment to let him go.

Okay, this is now making no sense. Its been a couple of days. I think by today at the latest they should have gone in and had a battle and captured this guy.
