Sorry Master, I strayed off course in one of my (200+) posts in this thread and expressed curiosity about someone else's passing comment. In future I will use the avenue of PM for asking all those question that are even minutely off topic.

what does that do? drinking petrol that is..is that torturous? i have always liked the smell of gas/petrol and wondered why people considered it unpleasant
I am not sure what it really does, but what I remember of it is that in papers when it was brought up they said that it ruins your digestive system a la diarrehea.... could be wrong though.

dark plumes of smoke can be seen rising from the mosque BUT being that it is being shown on ARY only, one can't be sure that they are not replaying an older tape

i am going to bite (in the leg) the next person who posts a news article (which are usually 4 hours old) reporting that he's ready to surrender. We want fresh updates, fresher than what we can get on Aaj TV. No posting of news article please. what kind of effects can teargas have on you, other than extreme discomfort and losing consciousness ? are kids more vulnerable to these effects,,, seems like a quick solution could have involved more aggressive gassing?

If the GEO/ARY footage is to be believed, I saw them wearing gas masks before all this started, so looks as if they are prepared for tear gas.
