man i am really worried now -- they are wasting time, curfew was relaxed, and media also moved forward, they'll have to force everyone out once again if they want to make any moves and there isn't enough time left. I have already wasted two days on this, and i cant' afford to stay up or skip work tomorrow to keep following this.. and as you know, without me, we are pretty much doomed.

i am obviously stating the obvious ( not to kention repeating the sentiment for the millionth time), but it's a real shame that the so called teachers of religion of peace are involved in this hostage situation...................anybody else a complete apostate yet?

Wouldnt call myself that, as the very core of my being accepts the basics of Islam. I come from a devoutly Sufi family which associations with the Naqshbandi and Qadiri tareeqas, but I am very irreligious partially owing to the character of 99% of "good" Muslims I have met.

Let us say , when it all gona over , why not the intellectuals of Pakistan ( including genuine ulmmas and modern day scholars ) sit together and issue a fatwa or reach to a mutual decision , on how the GOP should deal such issue in future ( if in case something like this happen again, very much chances it might will ) . But Once there is a clear ruling, signed by these intellectuals , GOP can take direct action rather wasting time like they did in this particular case and morons like qazi have no choice , but only to follow it .

No man, my faith is strong nuff not to be shaken by actions of a few idiots. I just think that the real scholars and ulema who are not into this politics-religion mixing and that is not tyheior focus should come out in force agsinst such folks.
I think many mullah type ppl just feel a little awkward going up against ppl who talka good talk. you have to break thru the facade that ppl like ghazi biradran.
as you would have seen on this very forum, a number of people came out in strong support for these morons, until these morons showed them to be what they were, what the rest of the ppl were saying.

oen +ve thing has come out of the negotiatinos between ghazi junior and the ulema. WE KNOW for a fact that he's in there, so we can safely raid the buildign without worrying that he may show up somewhere else tomorrow.
