First deadline for them to surrender is 330 a.m. 45 minutes from now.
Police, rangers and army have taken positions and will announce the curfew to lal masjid admin around 3 am.
All ulemas (fazlurrehman etc who went to negotiate with them have failed to convince Lal masjid admin to surrender. But according to reporters, cheif maulvi abdul aziz has had basharat that operation is going to happen. Bravo Maulvi sahab!

What an ass. He thinks based on his 'personal Basharat' he can keep the entire country hostage. The guy is delusional, and is no different from people claiming to be a prophet. Smoke him out. This operation will be useless if it only results in evacuation but not the death of this rabid molvi. He's refused to negotiate with all other Mullahs, Imam Kaba, and anybody of significance. He thinks his dream was an indication to him to lead this movement, he's not going to change his ways even after he's stripped of his power. He needs to be killed in this operation. the only way to deal with a snake is to cut off its head, not tail. Kill him and we may be able to spare the otherwise innocent people in the Madarrsah he's using as a shield for his personal motives.

True, but they were given the chance to negotiate and than surrender, they didn't, the writ of the govt. has to be restored. If this is let go unchallenged we will have every two bit maulvi starting his own little kingdom in every galli mohallah of Pakistan tomorrow.

ARY reporting that people inside the masjid are heavily armed with rocket launchers and automatic guns. They were supposed to be students. Did the maulvi also get basharat that he should get innocent people killed, also I wonder where his own family and kids are.

I also feel bad for the kids. they are mostly kids of poor families who didnt have the means to feed them.. They are being blatantly used by these two maulvis pursuing their personal glory.

u r absolutely right...but what do u think...only 4000-5000+ people living in a mosque in islamabad are following 'the ideology of extremisim'???...
my dear there are MILLIONS of these people spread across the country... US cant control these forces in afghanistan and iraq with millions of troops and advanced ammunition...what do u think..50+tanks...a few thousand millitary men+automatic weapons can wipe them out ?????....i seriously doubt it......

ssshah: even the msot conservative people in pakistan dont support lal masjid. don't sensationalize the situation. even in lal masjid, if it wasn't the two head mullahs, the students wouldn't be doing much damage or making any noise. We dont need to count the people, we need to count the snakeheads

it was clear that he spilled it unwillingly, probably privy to ‘some’ of the information ebcause of his contacts… after all, so close to the operation the informatio nhas to be shared with people who are going to actually execute the operation, and at such low ranks, it can always get leaked to journalists

VERY TRUE....thats what EQUALITY, JUSTICE and DEVOTION to the nation is....what happened on may 12 was WORSE than the 'happenings' in islamabad...
