i just heard Musharraf being interviewed by Jasmin Manzoor of Samaa TV with Musharraf in which he defended his actions but welcomed the Judicial inquiry into the incident...he criticized the call by the Judiciary about compensating the victims of Lal Masjid. he said that there must be no compensation to the "terrorists".

When you challenge writ of the government, you are actually violating the law. It should not happen under any pretext. The violators should not be compensated.

Its amazing there are lot of people who think that the operation was brutality and the people inside the mosque were all innocent students. I have a question here, what kind of "Students" would hold up against a commando action for 5 days and put a stiff resistance?
