I dont disagree. But that wasnt the point. The Q was could a 2nd Raj fix Pak's internal issues, I wager that it could. Obviously, I'd rather it didnt come to that.

I hope our media have enough sense to not 'incite controversy' soon after hte operation -- the time to analyze how thorough were the negotiations will not be at least until 6 months from now -- in the interest of hte nation, they should move on

I hope our media have enough sense to not 'incite controversy' soon after hte operation -- the time to analyze how thorough were the negotiations will not be at least until 6 months from now -- in the interest of hte nation, they should move on
It would be responsbility of 'pro-military' people (in this particular case atleast) to call in all media programs discussing this issue to let them what what they think of the situation, as well as write to the print media to show the support.

man theya re sayign that airforce will not participate in this operation..damn we always get left out of fun stuff.
musharraf needs to meke up for leaving airforce out of this noble cause and allow PAF to bomb some tribal terrorist school.. maybe in teh area where thousands of morons came out in support of lal masjid lalooo

They are actually undertaking this operation at the wrong time... Better would have been at night when the people inside are tired and unaware...
There is fighting going on inside the complex...

Yeah, always thought it was rather dissapointing that we never get to see the AF in action... except in Wziristan, but that can hardly count...

on the other hand...#1 thats when the terrorists would expect it #2 since they were negotiating.. terrorists were probably had some false sense of security #3 it gives a good line of sight to snipers #4 harder for any bhagoray to run away.
