Re: Lal Masjid Siege Thread - Operation Silence (merged)
my question was that should we believe all that without seeing the proof (I am sure they are right and I hope they are so the action is justified) but seeing one lie from their side (hostages and all), how much trustworthy the source really is?
is it a lie? there are peoplke coming out saying that they were held, people who talked to teir relatives inside were told that they were being held as well. could someone be lying saying that they were afraid they would be shot, sure, could someone be given wrong information by the ppl in lal masjid, sure, could someone just be confused, sure.
The truth should prevail. The wrong is wrong whether executed by the mullahs and co. of laal masjid by misinterpreting islam or the by the action taken from the army...
I think there is enough known already that shows that these guys were up to no good. As more info is made available people will dispute it too. Heck if they drag out bodies of al qaeda folks, thens oemone will say that theyare not al qaeda or thatthey did not die there and were brought in later etc.
The fact is that if Laal majid folks lied about militants and guns etc., then we should also keep in mind that the other party was not angel either.
No one is an angel, but the military was right and justified.
if there were no hostages then the govt should have just used bombs and rockets and not out the lives of soldiers at risk.
let's call a spade what it is.
I did already, ghazi 1&2 as terrorists and their supporters as apologists.
