OMG! Just saw Maria B’s prints today and they r horrible. I mean my mind gets boggled when i see how these designers dont feel bad in coming up with a collection that has absolutely no creativity, no aesthetics involved in it. It’s such a shame really.
Anyway, really waiting for lakhani’s prints because i thought they were real nice last year, far better than most of the designer lawn prints. But saw some of their prints online n i hope these r nt their best prints cuz they r very ordinary compared to last year. I liked the following 3 but they still r not like last year
i share your pain Maham, i am so not impressed by the “designer” lawn prints this year. Just seen the sana safinaz and they arent a patch on the designs from last year. It just seems they cant be bothered coming up with anything impressive this year!
I think its the prices i have a real issue with this time round, i bought all of my unstiched sana safinaz last year for between 2200 and 2300 Rs, this year they are selling em for closer to 3500.
Out of all of them i also like the Zunn prints, again they arent making me go “wowwwww” but they’re pretty
Unfortunate eh?! One would expect them to actually improve their standards. But they r only interested in improving the prices and def not the quality or aesthetics.
^ Yah. We went to pick my bhabhi from newlook so while waiting for her i was like why not check out maria b's prints and though i was not expecting anything great cuz i never liked her work much but i was still shocked cuz all prints looked old, as if they have been from 10 yrs before and there was nothing interesting at all. No good print and no good color combos....so it was a disappoinment.
well, i got the same impression as maham s but that's probably because i went there like a week after she started selling the lawn. i guess all the good stuff was sold out, with only the average stuff remaining, and boy, did that look dated.
^ i dont think yar, there were like so many prints there. last year i likd her yellow n grey one but even that came with a terrible mistake, the length cud be no more than 35 and it worked for some people but i didnt like that short shirts so i had to return.
