Didn’t know what else to call the thread. lol.

My mom has bought suits for all of my fiancés family, women, men, kids, everyone and now we’re stuck. We don’t know if we should get them anything else? My MIL is also getting gold earrings and my FIL is getting a branded watch.

My parents are paying for the walima outfits and his parents are paying for the barat outfits. My parents want to give my fiancé a watch, but do we put the box into his walima-outfit-basket, or do we give it to him on the barat?

Each family is different. My parents are gifting hubby and his dad TagHeur watches, gold karas for MIL, gold sets for my 3 SIL and gold earrings for FIL’s ammi. Plus suits for each family member and extended family. As our nikkah has been done we have already exchanged rings. My parents will give all the gifts to his parents before the shaadi, with the exception of his watch which will gift hubby on stage when salaamis are being given.
