The imam at our majis said that lailatul qadar can be in any of the last odd nights like 21, 23, 25 etc. You can pray until the time of Fajr. I usually pray tahajjad when I get up for sehri just because it feels good and Allah knows best.
Shab a Qadar is farsi name for Lailatul Qadar.
You can read any kind of tasbeeh in your heart/brain while you are at work. Like Kalima , Daroord, ayetal kursi, Subhan Allah, Alhumdulilah , Allah O Akbar , etc that will be counted as aibadat too. Inshallah.
After work you can do as you intend to.
Wallah Alim bis sawab.
P.S: You can read all the surahs of Quran which you have memorized.
Lailatul Qadar and Shab-e-Qadr are one and the same thing, just what they're called in different languages. The time to "search" for it is in the last 10 nights of Ramadan on the odd nights.
The time it starts has nothing to do with midnight on the clock. I believe you can start the worship for it anytime after Isha and until Fajr enters. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
Layla tul Qadr can be any odd night from the last 10, not necessarily 27th. You can stay up all night praying if you want, but the time for tahajud is in the last third part of the night till dawn, thats the best time to make dua. You can even just get up like 10, 15, or whatever minutes earlier than usual for sehri. You can read from the Quran. You can pray 2 rakat and make dua when you are in sajda. Just make lots of dua from your heart. Even while you are preparing you sehri food you can use that time to make tasbeeh, like saying Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah, Allahu Akbar
Mirch thankyou for that, you just made it sound so simple.
The Surahs of Quran do you have to read them on tasbeeh over and over again??
Whats the correct process of reading the tasbeeh??
Do you need to have proper wazu??
Thanks , keep me in your prayers.
You do not have to have that physical tasbeeh with you to do any of this. Just read it in your heart again and again. You can do a mix and match kind of a thing. Read the surahs and then any of the above noted tasbeeh as many times as you want.
There are some Ahadees about rewards for different kind of tasbeehs. Like For example I have heard in one lecture that if you recite kalima for 100 times it is equivalent to praying all night long , or if you read Subhan Allah 33 , Alhumdulialh 33 times and then Allah o Akbar 34 times you are rewareded as if you have sacrificed a camel.
Wallah Alim bis sawab.
You do not have to have wuzu if you are reciting Quran or tasbeeh in your heart or even with sound. You have to have wuzu if you are touching a real ink and paper Quran.
