True. There is a lot of development that took place in the past few years. It seems more congested than before. What differences did you notice?

More development but still the traffic is same with so many cars
I was stuck in traffic for almost 1 hour

Before it had a cultural vibe and now everything looks commercial

Maybe I came after so long thats why

Its not about the development every road has been dugged out and still roads are not in good shape

Too much dust too withs lots of pollution

Mmmhmmm that is what I meant to say too, that ancient culture vibe has disappeared. Oh and the pollution has tripled it seems.

My dad moved to Karachi from Lahore in 80s, he told me Karachi at that times was amongst the top ten cities of Asia, clean and extremely well developed. I find it hard to believe!

My mum used to spend her summer vacations in Karachi and she tells the same thing about its cleanliness. She was shocked when she saw the state of Karachi last year.

Funny the people who claim to own Karachi have ruled over it for last 30 years or at least majority of this time but did nothing to stop this decline. Shahbaz Sharif on other hand changed the face of Lahore.

I last visited lahore over 7 years ago, it was pretty nice but I think it always had traffic problems, like my relatives even complained about the traffic ten years ago, I think Lahore always had problems with small roads.

Even in Islamabad, lots of traffic and dust
greenery bohat kam ho gai hay thanks to new roads
