Seth basically sucks.
I like Entity more. It used to be a excellent band, great live performances.
But I wonder whether the underground is still as vibrant as it used to be 4-5 years ago. Sadly, most of them play the music just to impress the girls and then some of them are into drugs and drinking.
Dervaish bhayee sent me some of the music. Dont want to sound ignorant. But why are these guys underground?

People Lahore Underground music is basically about freedome of speeck and it’s not commercial Music. Almost all the mainstrem bands are comercial and only sing what they are told. Underground bands sing what they feel like and what ever that really matters in life. Sure the image we have is of Drugs and Hash… but ever wondered where it all got started? people still listen to Qawali while gettin Drunk and **** but Nooo you people dont have the balls to call him wrong. hay man Baber is long gone and he was a great loss to the underground scene. And you just by judging that im being in underground scene would SMOKE hash and drunk!! well for your informtion i dont do both. but i love this music. And Seth is a Metal band and trip is a Rock band there is a big differenc.

Yeah, of course, this is what NFP has been writing in the Vibes of News for millions of years. We say what we want, do what we want…But tell me whats the use. Tell me one good thing that Underground metal scene has done. Dont be offended bcoz I have been a great devotee of the metal scene in Lahore too. But majorly the game is one of mistaken identities and confused goals. Its a good use of the loads of money and time that they have.
All this is apart from the fact that some of them do have good musical talent and not all of them do drugs.

Tell me one good thing that the commercial Bands like Awaz, Ali Haider and God knows we else have done to the music scene, apart from making music that has no ground and taste. Do u have any idea what our music industry is like. All they want is more LOVE songs and dance songs. I mean here we are "Underground" people making music that really says what we feel like. Let me tell you now what we have done for lahore. Did u know that by 95' only 7 bands were in lahore that played this music and now thnx to GIG NIGHT (which is taking place at Al-hamra Gulberg at 24th june 2001) more and more people have started listning to this music and really working hard to make bands and all. Look at mekall hasan, Faraz Anwar, Entity, Seth, Paradigm, Blue Buzz... and so on. Band like them have a name now and people have started to educate them more about real music and how is works. Music my friend is an Art and believe me there are more talented people in the Underground scene then in comercial scene.
Did u know that there was this program which was made on "Underground vs Commercial" and in which both sides came together and talked about what they really are and u know what.... It never got on AIR the reason because it was the hard truth. Commercial bands always sing on DAT and take your hard earn money just by showing up and dancing like fools in frount of you and man if you need to listen to DAT stay home and get a Rs.60 tape. underground bands play LIVE and they perform live and the feel and energy they give can never be matched by the commercial scene. Did u know that from the 24th of June first ROCK HIGH school is being opened for poeple who want to study real music? Man we are trying hard here to improve the music standrads and to educate people. and to call us somthing like "MIXED GOALS" i think is not appopriate.
How long will you listen to Ali haider, Ibrar, Vital signs and god know who else singing about the same thing over and over again.
Anyway please do coem to this GIG night if you can and see the Difference.

Wrath, metal wont ever be heard by more and more people. If it were, it wont be metal; it would be pop.
And believe me thru out the time from 1995 to 2000, that I and friends of mine used to attend these concerts so religiously, we never met new people. Never. We got to meet the same people over and over again and infact became firends with some of them.
Well, anyway, lets forget this. Tell me which band are you in? Are you by any chance Entity's vocalist? And who do you think is the best guitarist in the underground scene (excluding Faraz and Meekal)?

people we are here trying to change the ways and opening up to new options. we dont have anything against urdu i mean we play urdu songs too. i think youll all get a better idea of what im talking about when you see it for your self.
