I was pulled off by a traffic warden near sherpao bridge at about 11 at night, he said i was holding my mobile in hand
and he needs to give me ticket and asked me for my license, i gave him my license saying, first i was waiting at a traffic light and seeing mobile in stopped car is not an offense, second there was no way he cud spot me holding mobile from other edge of the road.
Anyway, he started getting personal, what is your name, are you single, where you live, what you do etc. more than that he kept telling me how beautiful i am and how cute i am looking ( BAST********)
he asked for my mobile phone number which i refused and he refused to give my license back without the number. and said he won’t let me go if i dont give him my number.
I had to give my number helplessly, then i got into my car and he put his hand in my window forcing me to smile for him before i can go!!! (S-O-A-B)!!!
Now he stalks me, pulls me over for no reason, sends me stupid abusive msgs, keeps calling me…
I know going to any authority won’t help me, as to most pakistanis something like this is just as simple as a “shughul”. But it is getting really abusive and scary now. Can anyone tell me what to do please, any legal advice???

Usually.....they have traffic police circles.....you can like....complain to their senior/incharge or something.......
you should've let him take the license.....and get a ticket instead.......in pakistan.......you need to move away from a cop of any kind.....as soon as possible.......u shouldn't get into argument unless you know some influential people who would kick a coops' ass........
I cudn;t see his badge, i tried to every time but i cudn;t locate it, they hide their badges. He has a traffic police motor cycle, he follows, plus, how can i say i don't have a license when i do have a license, i don;t know, i need some time to learn to be a Pakistani, but right now i really really need some security,and i know going to any senior won;t help. at least i know this about Pakistan :(
oh... i am a Chinese, who speaks urdu. i live alone, i gave him my office number but he refused, i said i have to give him my mobile number or he wont let me go. and i use same road to go to and from office to home. he is ther everyday, stalking me and following me, at times stopping me for no reason. he keeps giving me missing calls and sends me those stupid sher-o-shairy wale msgs. I hope he falls off his motor cycle someday.
First time i'm listening this type of complain about these Traffic Wardons bcoz they are far better then old traffic police.
You made mistake to giving ur cell number to him rather to get the ticket. The best thing to get rid of him, just change your cell number.

Oh .....Just note down number of his motor cycle and you can complain to some senior authorities. Anyway, meanwhile I"ll try to get their senior's phone number for complain and ll inform you later.

Normally these are small time thugs trying to get your mobile or something dressed as police. It's very easy to get any number blocked from your mobile service provider. Just call the operator for the services from your mobile, ask the procedure to block a certain number and follow the procedure.
People who are driving in small lanes should not stop late at night for anyone even if someone is dressed as police. If you are on a main road do not open your window more than two inches and keep your car locked. If you feel anything fishy about the police guy.. do not hesitate to drive off. There are two many complains in the city about small time thugs dressed as police. Never hand over anything to these guys.. always ask for identification specially at night. Genuine traffic police in Lahore is very well behaved, well educated, and will always identify themselves. If he refuses to identify himself, surely is a fake policeman trying to rob people.. Just drive off..

I thought about blocking number but he can call her from other number as well but most awkward thing she is facing that he is approaching her daily so he is not thug type of person Bcoz he can't be on traffic police bike daily ...
Get the number blocked.. if he still persists.. I'll pm you the number of a high traffic police official.. just make a complain after noting the other numbers also.
My office is on jail road, i go from jail road toward defence. right after you get off the bridge there is a check post and after the check post there is a road crossing with traffic signals, i take right from there every night after office. He is there every night. so changing my mobile number won;t help me much. he stopped me after i took the turn from that traffic signal, now ppl knowing the road knows if a traffic police can spot someone in a car on the other side of the road holding a mobile at 11 at night!!!

If he is really a traffic police warden, believe me your complain can get him in a lot of trouble and probably he knows that. I doubt he is a real traffic warden..

u can change your way and turn right before sher pao bridge and then after crossing liberty round about, u can take left turn from next traffic signals and then u'll get the same road after crossing caverly bridge .....
than all i can say is he must be a bigra howa S-O-A-B of some ameer or whatever these kind of baap. cause not a ordinary thug can have a proper uniform of a traffic police, fully loaded motocycle of them and can be there everyday... plus other police wardens don;t care what he is doing. AND he has no FEAR of doing so to even a foriegner.
I wish someone comes and help me give a powerful kick in his ba**** next time he says, " you are just so beautiful"
